Creating an Account and Logging In

Tinkercad is a virtual modeling program. To work in a virtual environment, you first need to create an account and log in. This is a convenient method because, when working virtually, the same project can be accessed from different computers. Additionally, multiple users from different locations can collaborate on the same project.

Creating an Account

Open a web browser and enter the URL:  www.tinkercad.com

If you are logging in for the first time, you must create an account. To do so, you need a valid email address. Click on "Sign in" in the upper-right corner of the window to open a menu with different account creation options.

When creating a personal account, select "Create personal account". In the next window, you will be given different options for setting up your account.

The simplest way to create an account is by using an existing Gmail email address. Enter your email address and password. If you are using a different email provider, you will need to provide your name, surname, age, country, and email address.

For users under 16 years old, a parent or guardian’s email address is required for account verification. In this case, the child does not need their own email address.

Once you create your Tinkercad account, you must verify it through your email. This links the account to your email address, ensuring that no other accounts can be created with the same email.

Logging into Your Tinkercad Account

To log into your account, go to the Tinkercad homepage and click "Join Now" in the upper-right corner. A new window will open, allowing you to choose a login method.

• If your account is linked to a Gmail email address, select "Sign in with Google", then enter your Gmail email and password.
• If your account is linked to an Apple email address, you can log in the same way by selecting "Sign in with Apple".
• If you are using a different email, select "Email or Username" and log in with the username and password you created during account setup.
