Description of the learning unit

This learning unit and activity introduces students to the impact of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) on the environment, agriculture, and society. Using augmented reality (AR) technologies, students will model different scenarios of GMO application, analyze potential benefits and risks, and discuss ethical, economic, and ecological aspects. The learning unit combines inquiry-based learning, collaborative activities, and reflection to support critical understanding of biotechnology and its real-world applications.
